I've considered the pros and cons of including politics in my business page, and I realize this may not sit well with all Thrifter's Guide users. However... being a part of many Bernie supporter groups has driven home to me even more how much people just need a little extra income due to the heavy influence of money in politics and how that plays out in the form of worker rights and benefits. 
This website was created to help others be able to enjoy the benefits of working for oneself, being directly rewarded for hard work, and have some money to pay the bills and maybe a few extras. Our personal situation is such that employment obstacles of various types and the costs of going to work mean that continuing to work for ourselves translates to more money leftover for us to pay the bills at the end of the day. We want everyone who is capable of working to be able to do so and for everyone who works to earn a living wage. 
Therefore, for as long as Bernie is a candidate, you will have the option of requesting that half of your subscription cost (minus approx 3% in fees) be donated to the Bernie Sanders campaign at no additional cost. The other candidates have Super PACs and banks and corporations lining their campaign pockets, but in the interests of fairness and respecting all opinions, if you would like your donation to benefit an alternate candidate or charitable organization, please just send an e-mail and we will try to make it work. 
If you choose to subscribe and want half of your subscription cost to be donated to the Bernie Sanders campaign, please send an e-mail to advise and you will receive confirmation of the donation. Donations will continue on the recurring payments as long as the campaign is active. 
Your subscription will NOT be donated unless you request it.
