Tracking Packages

When you print labels through eBay shipping, you can not only access discounts, but take advantage of automatic tracking. When the package is shipped, free tracking is provided and is automatically entered into the item information so that both you and the buyer can track the item. 

Tracking outside the US for items shipped directly (i.e. not through the Global Shipping Program) can be done on the Track Trace website or the Global Track Trace site. 

Insurance Claims

On occasion, packages arrive damaged. When this happens, have the buyer send pictures of

• the outer packaging
• the inner packaging
• visible damage to the item

Do NOT have the buyer return the item. This voids the insurance. They should hold onto the item and all packaging in case it is requested for inspection by the carrier (this rarely happens - I've only had this happen once, and it was because the buyer did not send the necessary pics). File the claim online through the links below, or use the eBay ShipCover insurance (I prefer the carrier claims process). You will need to include a PDF of the PayPal transaction (link below for a PDF printer). Do not refund until the claim process is complete (to ensure buyer follows all necessary steps on their end).
